OpenSCAD parametric clip-on protective dome for RPLIDAR A1M8 sensor

  • Clip-on design with two snap tabs (2.5mm deflection)
  • Overhead dome shield with 6× drainage holes
  • Quick-release lever tab for one-handed removal
  • Optical clearance: 4mm minimum (preserves 360° scan)
  • Waterproof design prevents pooling at base

Material: PETG/ASA (UV-resistant, weatherproof)
Print: 0.2mm layers, 5 perimeters, 15% infill, ~1.5 hours
No supports required (overhangs <45°)
