Summary

Clip-on mounts for two UWB anchors on the SaltyBot 25 mm OD vertical stem.
Anchors spaced 250 mm apart vertically for reliable UWB ranging geometry.

Components

Component Dimensions Notes
MaUWB ESP32-S3 anchor module ~56 × 30 mm PCB (verify) Same board as tag
Stem 25 mm OD, ~1000 mm length Already on robot

Functional requirements

  • Split-collar clip to 25 mm stem (no permanent fasteners)
  • Holds UWB module facing outward (antenna clear of stem metal)
  • USB-C port accessible for firmware flashing without disassembly
  • Mounts can be repositioned up/down stem for calibration
  • 250 mm nominal spacing (two independent collars)
  • M4 collar clamping bolts, M3 PCB attachment screws

Deliverables

  • chassis/uwb_anchor_mount.scad — collar half (×2 per anchor × 2 anchors = 8 prints) + module bracket + assembly view showing both mounts on stem
  • RENDER switch: assembly / collar_front / collar_rear / bracket / assembly_pair
