OpenSCAD parametric design for tracked/tank variant chassis.

Requirements

  • Base plate: Rectangular plate sized for 2x track assemblies (rubber or metal tracks)
  • Track tensioner mounts: Adjustable idler wheel positions for track tension
  • Drive sprocket mounts: Motor mount brackets for drive sprockets (rear)
  • Skid plate: Underside protection plate for rough terrain
  • Electronics bay: Same swappable mounting pattern as SaltyLab/SaltyRover
  • Sensor mounts: RPLIDAR top center, D435i front, 4x CSI cameras at corners
  • Ground clearance: Minimum 50mm under chassis
  • Export: STL for 3D printing, DXF for laser cutting
  • Weight target: Under 3kg frame (tracks are heavier than wheels)
