OpenSCAD parametric design for 4-wheel rover variant chassis.

Requirements

  • Base plate: Rectangular plate sized for 4x hub motors (dimensions TBD based on motor selection)
  • Motor mounts: 4x adjustable motor mount brackets with M3 bolt patterns
  • Suspension: Simple spring or compliant mount for rough terrain
  • Electronics bay: Central compartment for FC + Jetson + battery, with ventilation
  • Sensor mounts: Positions for RPLIDAR (top center), D435i (front), 4x CSI cameras
  • Modularity: Shared mounting pattern with SaltyLab for swappable electronics
  • Export: STL for 3D printing, DXF for laser cutting base plate
