Torch-lit power-march homage: Jay Bead (calm mogul, authority through restraint) + Beadhanna (soaring gospel-edged hook) turn the crowd into a marching chant — "we don't ask for the crown, we just take the whole street... run the beads." Original homage to the dark stadium-anthem lineage: captures the VIBE (power-march + gang chant + diva lift) only — zero quoted lyrics / borrowed melody. Jay Bead + Beadhanna are original BadBead MCs. Leans into "built itself while you slept" as empire imagery. Copyright gates passed. Brief from Tee (2026-06-10). Run The Beads
Artist: Jay Bead feat. Beadhanna Length target: 3:50–4:20 Released: 2026-06-10 (draft) Label: BadBeadRecords Brief from: Tee (2026-06-10)
Concept
A torch-lit power-anthem. Jay Bead — the calm mogul who rules through restraint, not volume — trades the night with Beadhanna, whose huge gospel-edged hook turns the whole crowd into a marching chant. The thesis: we don't ask for the crown, we just take the whole street. Quiet king, roaring voice, a city holding torches in the dark.
It leans into the label's deepest motif — "built itself while you slept" — flipped into empire imagery: the beads laid one at a time in a basement, the machine that runs on its own, the dawn built while the town sleeps.
The artists
- Jay Bead — low, measured, authority-through-restraint MC. Power in the lowered tone.
- Beadhanna — the soaring vocalist; owns the hook and the bridge lift.
Production
- 86 BPM / E minor / ~4:05 — dark anthemic stadium-rap
- Spine: marching toms, hand-clap backbeat, minor brass/string stabs, low choir pad, crowd "hey" chant
- Dynamics: sparse tense verses → detonating hook → biggest-moment bridge → final hook with full crowd
- Hook mechanic: dry, forward gang chant ("run the beads / hold it high / own the sky") built to be shouted back
- Mix: cinematic, wide, controlled-loud, -8 LUFS
