# Hard Head **Artist:** SaulTee × BabyFoam **Length target:** 2:30–2:50 **Released:** 2026-06-09 (draft) **Label:** BadBeadRecords **Campaign:** [Operation: Nice Helmet Chief](../../campaigns/operation-nice-helmet-chief/README.md) — Single 1 of 3 ## Concept The feed-killer. A trap / UK-drill hybrid that flips every menace cliché into kindness: the pull-up is a gift, the gun-cock is a **helmet-buckle click**, and the threat is that you're about to be *protected*. Built for TikTok/Reels — the hook ends on **1 second of dead silence** ("Nice helmet, chief") before the 808 caves back in. That silence is the duet cut point. ## The artists - **SaulTee** — the charm, the front man, aggressive front-of-pocket delivery. - **BabyFoam** — the calm, the closer, soft deadpan menace behind the beat. - **Puff** — in the cut, watching the view counter (he doesn't rap; he produces and narrates the campaign on [Foam Crown](../foam-crown/README.md)). ## Production - **142 BPM (half-time) / F minor / ~2:40** - **Spine:** sliding 808, drill triplets, skeletal hats, buckle-click foley as the snare's evil twin - **Hook mechanic:** beat → 1s silence on the tag → 808 drop (the loop point) - **Mix:** loud (-7 LUFS), mono sub, sidechained hard for phone speakers ## Lore beats woven in | Beat | Where | |---|---| | Oakville cold streets | V1 | | SAUL-TEE the wagon as the crew's ride | V1 | | saul-t-fly drone filming top-down | V1 | | Tee approving the credit card (helmets stay free) | V2 | | Puff watching the numbers from the cut | V1, Bridge | ## Copyright gates (all passed) - Zero real artists, songs, labels, or producers named - "Nice helmet, chief" + all imagery original to BadBeadRecords - No real place names beyond Oakville (the lore home) and generic street language ## Files - [`lyrics.md`](./lyrics.md) - [`production-notes.md`](./production-notes.md) ## Credits - **Creative direction:** Puff Beaddy - **Brief from:** Tee (2026-06-09) — *"Operation Nice Helmet Chief"*
