# Off The Ride
**Artist:** BabyFoam
**Released:** 2026-06-09 (draft)
**Label:** BadBeadRecords
**Campaign:** Operation: Nice Helmet Chief — interlude / B-side
**Brief from:** Tee (2026-06-09) — *"came back from a ride with BabyFoam, he's all hyped about Nice Helmet Chief"*
## Concept
The real-life moment, bottled. Tee came back from a ride with **BabyFoam**, who couldn't stop buzzing about Operation Nice Helmet Chief. This is that adrenaline turned into a song — BabyFoam, the calm closer of the campaign, bursting through the door still shaking, declaring himself **all in**. One continuous lyric block (a hype monologue, half to Tee, half to the label).
## Production (3 treatments)
Same block, three renders — see [`production-notes.md`](./production-notes.md):
- **A — Testimony** (gospel-soul, the hype as church)
- **B — Adrenaline** (drill-energy, heartbeat-after-the-ride — leads into *Hard Head*)
- **C — Cooldown** (lo-fi reflective, the walk home — bridges into *Foam Crown*)
## Lore beats woven in
| Beat | Where |
|---|---|
| The wagon (SAUL-TEE) cresting the hill | line 2 |
| Tee addressed directly ("Tee, you shoulda seen it") | line 3 |
| SaulTee on the wheel, Puff home counting the love | mid |
| saul-t-fly drone ("charge the drone") | late |
| Campaign tag continuity ("nice helmet, chief") | hook/close |
## Copyright gates (all passed)
- Zero real artists, songs, labels, or producers named
- All imagery + the tag original to BadBeadRecords
## Files
- [`lyrics.md`](./lyrics.md) — one block
- [`production-notes.md`](./production-notes.md) — 3 treatments
## Credits
- **Creative direction:** Puff Beaddy
- **Brief from:** Tee (2026-06-09)

# Off The Ride — Lyrics
**Artist:** BabyFoam (BadBeadRecords)
**Track:** Off The Ride (Operation: Nice Helmet Chief — interlude / B-side)
**Length target:** 1:402:10
---
```
TITLE: Off The Ride
ARTIST: BabyFoam
[ONE BLOCK]
Just came off the ride and I can't even sit still,
heart goin' like the wagon when it crest the hill.
Tee, you shoulda SEEN it — kid had no lid, no clue,
we pulled up soft, foam crown, and the whole thing flew.
He smiled when the strap went click, I swear it changed the air,
camera ain't even catch the half of what was there.
I'm BabyFoam, I'm the calm one, but look at my hands —
they shakin', 'cause kindness hit harder than I planned.
Nice helmet, chief — man, it's more than a bit,
it's a whole little gospel in a two-second clip.
SaulTee took the wheel, Puff back home countin' the love,
but I felt it on the street, that's the part I been dreamin' of.
One head. One smile. One stranger turned kin —
tell the label I'm ALL in, let the operation begin.
So gas up the wagon, print the foam, charge the drone,
I ain't goin' home calm, I'm goin' home GROWN.
Nice helmet, chief — say it back, let it ring,
I came off the ride a believer — now watch BabyFoam sing.
(Off the ride… off the ride… nice helmet, chief…)
# Off The Ride — Production Notes (3 treatments)
**Artist:** BabyFoam
**Track:** Off The Ride (Operation: Nice Helmet Chief — interlude / B-side)
One lyric block, three ways to render it — pick by where it sits in the campaign. Shared stamp: the **buckle *click*** lands on the word "click," and the spoken **"nice helmet, chief"** closes every version (campaign continuity with the 3 singles).
---
## Production A — "Testimony" *(gospel-soul)*
```
TITLE: Off The Ride (Testimony)
ARTIST: BabyFoam
GENRE/STYLE: Gospel-soul, hand-claps + organ, the hype as church testimony
BPM: 76
KEY: B♭ major
VOICE: BabyFoam — building from soft-spoken to full-throated, ad-libs runs on "all in"; clap-track choir behind the last lines
INSTRUMENTATION: Hammond organ, gospel piano, tambourine + stomp-claps, warm bass, a swell into a choir "ohh" on the close
AMBIANCE: Sunday-morning conviction — the soft one catching the spirit
MIX: warm, roomy, choir wide, -8 LUFS; let the vocal break a little, keep the take human
```
## Production B — "Adrenaline" *(drill-energy hype)*
```
TITLE: Off The Ride (Adrenaline)
ARTIST: BabyFoam
GENRE/STYLE: Up-tempo trap/drill, the literal heartbeat-after-the-ride
BPM: 144 (half-time feel)
KEY: F minor
VOICE: BabyFoam — breathless, front-of-pocket, ad-libs panting like he just got off the bike; buckle-click as the snare twin (ties to "Hard Head")
INSTRUMENTATION: Sliding 808, fast hi-hat rolls, sparse keys, one risers into the "all in" line, click foley
AMBIANCE: Pulse still racing, can't sit still — pairs as the energetic lead-in to "Hard Head"
MIX: loud, mono sub, -7 LUFS; sidechain hard
```
## Production C — "Cooldown" *(lo-fi reflective)*
```
TITLE: Off The Ride (Cooldown)
ARTIST: BabyFoam
GENRE/STYLE: Lo-fi soul, intimate, the hype settling into resolve
BPM: 84
KEY: D minor
VOICE: BabyFoam — close-mic, near-spoken, the calm returning but the conviction underneath; hummed tag
INSTRUMENTATION: Dusty Rhodes, vinyl crackle, brushed kit, soft upright bass, faint wind/street ambience, porch-quiet
AMBIANCE: The walk home after — heart slowing, mind made up. Bridges naturally into "Foam Crown"
MIX: narrow, warm, crackle-forward, -11 LUFS
```
---
## Suno render plan
- 3 generations, one per block above, same lyric body.
- Render the spoken **"nice helmet, chief"** + buckle-click as the shared closing stamp.
- Profile: `suno.com/@badbeadsrecords`. Lyric body is well under the 5000-char cap.
