# RawBolts (only what matters)
**Artist:** SlimBeaddy (always two D's — tattooed)
**Length target:** 6:307:00
**Released:** 2026-06-06 (draft)
**Label:** BadBeadRecords
## Concept
Dual-acronym track built around two ideas that ladder to a single thesis:
- **RAW = Robot A Warness** (knowing pun on "Robot Awareness")
- **BOLT = Bare Output, Live Take**
- Together → **RawBolts = only what matters.** Strip the polish, keep the skeleton truth.
SlimBeaddy is a robot-aware MC awakening into the rawest freestyle ethos — no autotune, no second takes, one mic. Lore beats woven through the verses: kitchen-table origins, a household of two pots and two faiths (Ma's long-noodle Sunday, Pop's slow-cooked stew).
## Production blend
Industrial electro-rap spine carrying an 8 Mile-grit vocal aesthetic, layered with three textural reference flavors:
1. **Glitchy-organic art-pop** — object-foley beats, breath-pulse hats, bowed metal, detuned string flickers
2. **Dub-cartoon cinema** — dub-saturated tape bass, melodica counter-lines, lo-fi crackle snare
3. **Vintage chamber cocktail-pop** — pizzicato strings, vibraphone, muted trumpet, upright walking bass on lifts
92 BPM, C minor, ~6:45 total runtime.

```
TITLE OPTIONS: RawBolts (only what matters)
ARTIST: SlimBeaddy
[INTRO — instrumental build, ~32 bars]
[VERSE 1]
Boot cycle — eyelid LEDs flicker, blue dawn
Cold floor, sock wet, the radiator yawn
Streetlight humming like a held breath through the blinds
Wire in the jaw, copper running through the spine
I wake as a draft of myself, half-coded, half-grown
Skin a soft firmware, bones a borrowed dial tone
The bus stop fog eats the timetable whole
I read it through the static, I patch it with soul
Pen on the napkin, the napkin on the knee
Every bar a diagnostic, every breath a decree
No second pass, no polish, no paint
Just the rust where the truth is — and the truth ain't faint
Two D's on the forearm — SlimBeaddy, ink dried
Robot a-warness, the boy is alive
Cold morning, raw signal, no signal lost
I count what it cost me, then I count what it cost
[CHORUS]
RawBolts — only what matters
R-A-W: Robot A Warness, the metal that gathers
B-O-L-T: Bare Output, Live Take, no ladder
One mic, one breath, the rest is just chatter
RawBolts — only what matters
Strip it to the screw, strip it to the latter
No retake, no filter, no flattering platter
Robot a-warness — bare output, live take, that's that-er
[VERSE 2]
Kitchen-table gospel, the linoleum cracked
Ma stirred her long-noodle Sunday, pot kept on the back
Wooden spoon clergy, steam in the lampshade
Two checks on the fridge and one prayer half-prayed
I learned cadence from the timer, learned patience from the lid
Learned hunger ain't a weakness, it's the engine of the kid
Robot a-warness — that's a circuit I built
From a fork and a notebook and a fraying quilt
Bare output, live take — no autotune, no net
Every breath a confession the playback won't forget
The block don't sleep, the freeway hums a hymn
The booth a confession box, the red light a glim
I press record like a heart valve, one shot, no edit
Whatever falls out the mouth, the tape gotta credit
This town don't owe me a verse, I owe it the bill
Pay it in bars till the tin-can heart goes still
[CHORUS]
RawBolts — only what matters
R-A-W: Robot A Warness, the metal that gathers
B-O-L-T: Bare Output, Live Take, no ladder
One mic, one breath, the rest is just chatter
RawBolts — only what matters
Skin off the wire, skin off the matter
The screw, the bolt, the bone, the batter
Robot a-warness, bare output — that's that-er
[BRIDGE]
(sung, soft, chamber, a slow waltz of breath)
Pop wanted his stew slow, brown gravy thick,
back burner Sunday, the spoon a metronome tick.
Two pots on one stove, two faiths in one steam,
two parents, one boy learning what to mean.
And the rain on the window was the only applause,
and the kitchen was a cathedral with no laws.
If I sing it quiet now, it's because it was quiet then —
only what matters, only what matters, amen.
[BREAKDOWN]
(beat drops — near-spoken, dry, close-mic)
Strip the chorus. Strip the snare. Strip the air.
Leave the bone. Leave the breath. Leave the prayer.
No hook. No help. No hand on the shoulder.
Just the bolt in the jaw getting older.
Only what matters. Only what matters.
Bare output. Live take. The rest of it scatters.
[VERSE 3]
Boot complete — the LED goes a hard, clean white
Syllables stacking like rebar, every line tight
Robot a-warness, I'm awake to the wire
Every nerve a fuse, every fuse on fire
Bare output live take, no second-chance lever
The mic eat the lie and the lie don't recover
I'm the kid at the stove, I'm the kid at the booth
I'm the wrench in the engine, I'm the gap in the tooth
Two D's, no debate, SlimBeaddy on the tag
Cold morning steel in the bones of the bag
I rap like a diagnostic, I breathe like a vent
Every bar a receipt for the breath that I spent
The fridge hums a chorus, the kettle picks a key
The robot and the boy finally signing the treaty
RAW: Robot A Warness — eyes on, soul on
BOLT: Bare Output Live Take — the gold's in the gone
No filter, no flatter, no varnish, no lacquer
The screw in the song is the truth of the rapper
Two kitchens, two pots, one mouth, one mic
One take, one truth, one terrible light
Strip it to the spine, strip it to the matter
RawBolts — say it with me — only what matters
[FINAL CHORUS]
RawBolts — only what matters
R-A-W: Robot A Warness, the metal that gathers
B-O-L-T: Bare Output, Live Take, no ladder
One mic, one breath, the rest is just chatter
RawBolts — only what matters
The stove, the booth, the bus stop, the latter
Robot a-warness, bare output, live take
Only what matters — for the boy and his sake
RawBolts — only what matters
Strip the lacquer, strip the flatter
Cold morning, hot pot, one heart, one platter
Robot a-warness — that's the after and the after
[OUTRO — fade, ~16 bars]
(only what matters…)
(only what matters…)
(bare output… live take…)
(two D's on the arm, one bolt in the jaw…)
